Multicomponent Interventions to Increase Cancer Screening are Cost-Effective

A new systematic review of economic evidence shows multicomponent interventions to increase screenings for cervical or colorectal cancer are cost-effective. There was not enough information to determine cost-effectiveness for interventions aimed at increasing breast cancer screening.

The review included evidence from 54 studies published through January 2018. Studies evaluated multicomponent interventions to increase screenings for breast (14 studies), cervical (6 studies), and colorectal (34 studies) cancers.
