Publications Feature CPSTF Prioritization Process and Commemorate 25 Years

The June issue of the American Journal of Preventive Medicine featured two articles about The Community Guide and the Community Preventive Services Task Force (CPSTF). Both are available on The Community Guide website.

A research brief from Community Guide scientists and CPSTF members describes the data-driven process CPSTF used to identify, consider, and select nine priority topics to guide their work from 2020-2025.

An accompanying commentary from CPSTF chair, Dr. Ned Calonge, and vice-chair, Dr. Alison Cuellar commemorates 25 years of systematic reviews and evidence-based findings for community-based intervention approaches. They emphasize three fundamental aspects of CPSTF work: effectiveness, economics, and equity.
